Tracy Ellyn Fine Arts

This series of mixed media prints of the energy of New York City is created from 19th, 20th and 21st century techniques, including photography, cyanotype, plants, watercolor and printmaking over the piece. They are partly collaged. No photoshop is used. Tracy is from the old school in which everything is made by hand.

The more you look closeup, the more you see. Pipes, stairways, bent buildings, cast iron lights, vases, flowers, a bit of nightlife, and, of course, some iconic museums. Overall, each piece depicts the energy that is the mixture of so much in Manhattan at one time.
